Six hotfixes landed after the gold rebalance

v1.0.6 changed the midgame economy. The six patches that followed are smaller, but two of them (v1.0.11 market changes and v1.0.12 stuck-Worker fix) change how a reign plays, so a guide written against v1.0.6 is describing a slightly different game.

v1.0.7 (September 8) — late-game menus and quest safety

  • Prestige Upgrades that could never be bought are fixed: the way unlocked menus are registered was changed, which removes a bug that left Prestige Upgrades permanently unpurchasable.
  • Auto Quests no longer corrupt Main Quest 15 or 20: having some auto quests enabled could spawn wrong units in the cave or put the dragon in town.
  • Butchering time cut by roughly 60% for all animals, so butchering can keep up with higher breeding output and Meat production rises with it.
  • Visual adjustments to icons and environment sprites, plus general fixes reported that day.

v1.0.8 (September 10) — unlock hints, saves and housing

  • Unlock hints added so prerequisites are harder to miss.
  • Window size is remembered when the game is closed while windowed (not maximized).
  • Saving made more robust, and loading falls back to backups when the current save state fails.
  • Housing Research in the University raised the ceiling, ending at a total of 550 Workers once all related upgrades are bought.
  • The Tree Resin cost was removed from the "Cut the Bark" upgrade and its unlock conditions were adjusted.

v1.0.9 (September 12) — Magic capacity

  • Magic capacity now scales more like regular storage: drastically more max Magic per Magic Crystal by default, and drastically more per "Magic Crystal Capacity" upgrade.
  • A third Mana Crystal Capacity upgrade was added and the second got cheaper.
  • The Magic Crystal cost curve was flattened from a 50% increase per step to 30%.
  • Any Magic cost is capped at 50,000 — no more requirements that exceed what the game checks for.
  • An OpenGL 3 starting option on Windows was added to work around GPU-related crashes.

v1.0.10 (September 16) — expedition relics and prosperity

  • Button Magic costs fixed: buttons displayed 50,000 but checked for 99,999, so upgrades looked broken until far more Magic was stored.
  • Expedition Relic stats no longer depend on the Units selected after the expedition started. For an expedition already running when you load a save, this corrects once and then behaves normally.
  • Infinite Prosperity accumulation via one route was removed.
  • Crystal Shards are a little less valuable in trading.

v1.0.11 (September 22) — the Market patch

  • Market restock speed increased to 500% of the original, and all Market stock increased by 100% except Animals, so larger trades are possible.
  • Animal space +5 per accessible Animal type, which also stops the bug where a newly unlocked Animal type could not be obtained because the space was full.
  • Trading Animals on the Market is no longer capped by remaining Animal space, and resources that were not restocking correctly now do.
  • Potion recipe buttons in the Alchemy menu show potion costs on hover.
  • Trading Policies no longer change alignment as the threshold grows.
  • All "Completed Quests" passive Prestige Upgrades show a plus instead of a star, matching similar upgrades.
  • The Lich attack animation was adjusted, resource points like the Wheat field now accept input while menus are open, Tavern distributions that consume three or more resources show the correct icons, and several English localization typos were fixed.

v1.0.12 (September 23) — stuck Workers and Prosperity

  • Workers stuck on Festivals according to the UI are fixed. If a Worker in your save is stuck, they are freed once any Festival finishes.
  • Prosperity now generates again when you are below the maximum with enough resources present. If your Prosperity is stuck, wait a few seconds after updating and generation should pick up where it left off.

The developer also flagged a rarer Prosperity case where the displayed maximum is not achievable; the documented workaround is to pause the distribution completely (checkbox in the menu), wait for Prosperity to drop to 0, then wait one or two minutes for a full reset before it accumulates again.

What this means for your current save

  • A Worker who cannot be upgraded because the game thinks they are at a Festival is now a known bug with a fix — update and let a Festival finish.
  • The Market is worth revisiting if you wrote it off before v1.0.11: restock is five times faster and stock doubled.
  • Magic-heavy upgrade plans from early September are stale — capacity per crystal went up sharply and costs are capped at 50,000.
