Current endgame storage caps
The most important numbers come from the official v1.0.3 hotfix:
| Pool | Current stated endgame cap after v1.0.3 |
|---|---|
| Regular resources | 1,000,000 |
| Glory | 1,000,000 |
| Favor | 1,000,000 |
| Knowledge | 500,000 total |
The same patch raised maximum Knowledge per University to 25,000 and said that totals add up to 500,000. It also raised starting maximum Glory and Favor to 100,000.
These are patch-level values, not estimates from a screenshot.
What changed in v1.0.2?
The launch version used storage as a strong push toward Prestige. Player feedback made that feel like an artificial blocker, so the developer changed the curve one day after release.
The current model includes:
- flatter warehouse cost growth;
- flatter warehouse-upgrade cost growth;
- stronger Prestige storage upgrades earlier in progression;
- higher starting storage;
- warehouse carryover into future reigns under the patch’s stated conditions;
- purchased warehouse upgrades intended to remain across future reigns.
The developer gave one direct comparison: the old Demo-end storage of 12,500 became 30,650 after the v1.0.2 curve change. That number describes the comparison point in the patch notes, not a universal cap for every modern save.
What changed again in v1.0.3?
v1.0.2 fixed the early/midgame feel but still left the late curve pushing toward the old 99,999 region. v1.0.3 removed that late bottleneck by changing several systems:
- castle upgrades: +100,000 storage per stated upgrade;
- warehouse research in the University: +1,300 storage per research level;
- max Knowledge per University: 25,000;
- starting max Glory/Favor: 100,000;
- castle progression can raise Glory/Favor capacity to 1,000,000 total.
If an old guide tells you an upgrade is impossible because storage tops out below its requirement, check its recording date first.
When should you build another warehouse?
Use capacity as a planning constraint, not a panic button.
Build or upgrade storage when one of these is true:
- the next important purchase requires more than your current cap;
- an idle session will fill a key resource long before you return;
- you are repeatedly wasting production because a resource sits capped;
- the warehouse purchase is cheaper than the production time you are losing to the cap.
Do not automatically spend on storage just because it is available. If every resource is far below cap and your actual bottleneck is crafting time, the warehouse does nothing for the current problem.
Storage after Prestige
v1.0.2 says warehouses you have built can translate into new runs as long as the new run starts with buildings, and purchased warehouse upgrades should carry over. It also changed starting stock behavior to reflect the previous run.
That means a modern reset should not be evaluated using the very first launch-day reset experience.
Knowledge, Glory and Favor caps
These currencies use their own capacity logic. v1.0.3 specifically increased their caps because players could reach late progression with too little room to purchase expensive upgrades.
If you are stuck on an apparently impossible late cost:
- confirm you are on v1.0.3 or later;
- check Castle progress for Glory/Favor capacity;
- check University/warehouse research for Knowledge/storage;
- reload/update before assuming the save is permanently blocked.
A quick diagnosis table
| Symptom | Likely fix |
|---|---|
| Resource hits cap while AFK | More warehouse/storage upgrade |
| Upgrade costs more than cap | Current patch + later storage/castle research |
| Storage is fine but crafted item is slow | Add/fix crafting throughput, not storage |
| Old video shows 99,999 ceiling | It predates v1.0.3 endgame-cap change |
| University level progress looks wrong after reset | v1.0.1 fixed a carryover bug; Prestige again was the developer’s recovery instruction |
